OUR MISSION

The mission of Charlotte Soul is to unite and empower communities through the power of Black arts and culture.

We create welcoming spaces where cultural celebration inspires connection, creativity opens doors to opportunity, and health and wellness are part of a thriving community.

Through our free flagship festival, creative programs, and community partnerships, we support artists and entrepreneurs, connect individuals and families with vital resources, and celebrate Black culture as a force for joy, healing, and possibility.

Charlotte Soul envisions a Charlotte where Black arts and culture flourish as a vital force for community well-being, belonging, and opportunity.

A city where artists and entrepreneurs thrive, individuals and families have access to resources that support healthy lives, and the connections we build through culture empower generations to come.
